In six short years Colm Kerr LIPPVA climbs the latter and is named overall IPPVA Photographer of the Year 2023.

When Colm Kerr joined the IPPVA back in 2017, little did he think that in six short years named overall Photographer of the Year 2023 while claiming 1st place in Fine Art Category too.

At their IPPVA annual event in Clontarf Castle on Sunday last 26th March, Colm joined his fellow piers to pay tribute to the amazing talented photographers our country has produced. Colm said “I remember sitting at the first awards ceremony I attended back in 2017 thinking one day I am going to win this. I am going to be the best photographer in the Country”. Over the years, including the tough years of Covid, Colm has stayed loyal to his trade and continued to upskill and find ways to impress his clients with the commercial photographs he captures.

A full time commercial photographer Colm says “I want to thank my clients for their continued support, some of the Images featured in the panel that helped me claim overall winner were from shoots at The Lodge at Ashford, MHL’s Powerscourt Hotel, Cusack Hotels Ardboyne Hotel, Tetrarch Capital, Cliff at Lyons, Kilkea Castle Resort, McEniffe Canal Court Hotel and Room8 restaurant in Navan along with Gael Form, Sandar Construction, Ashmore Building and Original Kildare Project”.
